My family is complaining about where we decided to get married and keep telling me to change it?

First off what you need to realize is that not everyone will attend a destination wedding. It is just not plausible for some people. Some people do not want to travel more than say an hour to get to a wedding and that is just how it is. Just because it is your day and means the world to you it does not mean the world to everyone except maybe your mother and father. I for one would not travel more than 2 hours to attend a wedding and it would have to be a very close family member for me to travel those two hours. If it were my sibling then yes I would travel other than that nothing more than two hours. If you want this wedding then by all means have it your way but do not get mad when people don't show up. For those who complain politely explain this is your dream wedding and you are sorry they won't be able to experience it with you.
